City subsidy for yochien/shogakko tuition fees

Hi TF Members.

I have some questions about cityhall subsidies/support.

(1) Is it true that local municipality will share the cost of tuition fees in yochiens? Is there Anyone out here who’s familiar with the timings when such support will be released?

(2) If a child is to enter a shogakko (primary school ba yan sa atin?), is municipal government providing subsidy as well if you opted to enroll your child at a private school? how much is the subsidy?

(3)What abt enrolling your child in an interternational school? May subsidy rin ba?

Salamat ng Marami!

Hi, Makulit,
Maganda ang anak mo, talaga.

Ang sagot sa mga tanong mo ay, (1) Oo (2)Oo (3) Wala yata sa Nerima-ku.
Pero may limitasyon ng income ng magasawa.

Below is the related page in the homepage of Nerima-ku.

http://www.city.nerima.toky o.jp/guide/bamen2.php?b=01

The problem is it’s all in Japanese.

The key words are 幼稚園の減免(youchi-en no gen-men)

Dapat fill-in and submit the application form.

Some cities, indeed support low income families by giving child subsidies if the monthly/yearly income falls below a certain level… I think putting your child into an international school and enrolling into the subsidy defeats the purpose of the program and may well disqualify you…

Law nila dito na libre ang tuition fee ng bata from elemtary up to high school.

Thanks puting tainga, v_wrangler, ichimar, hotcake

I’ll call cityhall and ask (este patawagin ko pala ang asawa ko). Nag-apply naman kami if I remember it right, pero, wala kaming natatanggap for almost a year na. Baka nga hindi kami qualified :frowning:

Maganda ang anak mo, talaga.

Thanks puting tainga. Buti na lang nagmana sa ama
