hello fellow timog forum residents,

my family and i will be heading to izu this weekend for a quick summer getaway. gusto ko lang sanang magtanong kung may mga members dito na nakapunta na dun. at kung mayroon man may mai-suggest ba kayong magagandang lugar? tatlo pa lang kasi 'tong nakasulat sa itinerary namin – kumomi (thanks, maple:kiss:)), white beach, and botanical garden.

maraming salamat.

maraming salamat.hello kalypso!

Enjoy your trip!

hi Paul, thanks!

one more thing K, if you still have time, bago kayo umuwi, baka gusto ninyong pumasyal muna sa bahay ko?

thanks for the input, guys:).

ning2, i really appreciate the info. the places you mentioned seem cool. talagang maganda raw ang cactus park…that’s if you are a fan of things botanical. there are thousands of different varieties daw. is it true?

commander maple, don’t be too hard on saddam, okay:D? o sige, lahat na makita ko dun sa shirahama i-kwento ko sa 'yo. i’ll take a lot of pictures din for you. you know what? we’re not so sure pa kung makapasyal kami sa inyo. but we would really love to. it depends sa oras…kung maaga kaming makauwi dadaan kami pero kung late na hindi nalang siguro baka mabulabog pa namin kayo.

paul, bilib naman ako sa inyo. how long dit it take you and your friend to reach shirahama?

i hope i didn’t lift your hopes up too high about shirahama… it’s still not comparable to our beaches in the philippines… the only thing we enjoyed there was the view of numerous chicks in skimpy bikinis (hey, i was a young single male once too, y’know)…

i remember starting off on our trip to izu at 4:00 am from fuchu… we reached shirahama late at night… one thing we didn’t expect was that after yugawara, the road was a series of climbs up and down through several mountains all the way to shirahama… the flat seaside road we saw on the map was a tollway where bicycles weren’t allowed… :frowning:
