Moving company

Dear TF members,

Can anyone suggest a good (and cheap) moving company?
…because I will be moving to a new apartment in Tokyo next month. I don’t have that many things (and almost no furniture), so a small van should be enough. If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it!

A moving company might be expensive, if you have a driving license or a friend(s) willing to drive for you, one option is to rent a utility van/pickup truck and do the move yourself. …

Sakai Hikkoshi Center is good. If you can speak Japanese or if you have a Japanese friend to negotiate for you will be great. Sakai is really good. They are very flexible. You can beat them down as much as 15 to 20,000 yen.

from tsurumi to odaiba… between 1st to middle of november kailangan ko nang lumipat.

@andres

@gabby & v_wrangler

Happy moving! :wavey:

Try 赤帽 (Akabou):

http://www.akabou.jp/index.php

You see their vans everywhere, the little red & white ones. Sakto siguro sayo.

http://www.akabou.jp/image/aktruck_panel2.jpg

In my case I didn’t move but got some stuff transported 20 km away using 1 van (7k yen per van) around March this year.

Malapit yata ang Tsurumi-ku sa Kawasaki so try:

Oo nga Maruchan, actually nasesenti na ako, natutuwa ako sa Yokohama e… pero kailangan kong lumipat… but Kanagawa will always be in my heart :mushy: (weeping violins)

Very close. Good luck sa iyo! Makalipat ka sana ng maayos. :slight_smile:

http://homepage3.nifty.com/fliegen/
Website ni Tanaka-san, isang Akabou operator*. Nagawa ko ang paglilipat ‘without a hitch’, at ang presyo ay ¥19,200 on a Sunday, from Tsurumi–>Oji(Kita-ku)–>Odaiba.

Akabou Fliegen Unyu
Yasuo Tanaka
TEL&FAX 045-824-8998
Mobile 090-3961-7834

*ang Akabou nga pala ay “franchise” ang sistema ng pamamalakad, kaya more or less independent ang mga operators… at pwede kayong makakuha ng good deal kung kausapin niyo directly yung operator.
