Philippine Labor Overseas Labor Office (POLO) Osaka has been renamed Migrant Workers Office (MWO) Osaka, according to this Advisory signed by MWO Osaka Labor Attaché Elizabeth Marie R. Estrada.
This follows the creation of the Department of Migrant Workers through Republic Act No. 11641 signed by then president Rodrigo Duterte in 2021, and the subsequent renaming of Philippine Labor Overseas Labor Office (POLO) to Migrant Workers Office (MWO).
