MWO Tokyo Advisory: POLO Tokyo changes name to MWO Tokyo

Philippine Labor Overseas Labor Office (POLO) Tokyo has been renamed Migrant Workers Office (MWO) Tokyo, according to this Advisory signed by MWO Tokyo Labor Attaché Ramon Lamberto C. Pastrana.

This follows the creation of the Department of Migrant Workers through Republic Act No. 11641 signed by then president Rodrigo Duterte in 2021, and the subsequent renaming of Philippine Labor Overseas Labor Office (POLO) to Migrant Workers Office (MWO).

New email addresses and Facebook page

MWO Tokyo can now be contacted for labor-related issues and concerns at the following newly created email addresses:

The old POLO Tokyo contact email address (polotokyo@gmail.com) will be discontinued on February 28, 2023.

MWO Tokyo also has a new Facebook page: MWO-OWWA Tokyo.

The present website will continue to be used for the foreseeable future.
