This is an $800-million Toyota assembly plant in southwestern Ontario city. Mag umpisa ang operation by year 2008 at yung target output nila ay 100,000 cars per year.

Hi Willy,

Hindi ba mas kailangan diyan sa Canada instead of Japan? Main reason why both Ontario and Ottawa governments are even providing incentives of as much as 1/4 of the total $800 million Canadian. Ang sabi rin sa news, the plant will produce for North American markets so this way they avoid pa iyong pag-export from Japan to Canada or US.

Meron bang mga members dito na working for Car Assembly plants at baka mas may input kayo. But aside from cost of labor, parang malaking problema pa iyong humanap ng tao in Japan to man those plants. Not to mention na pag-Toyota plant, the suppliers around the plant should be operating on a 24-hour basis din.

The way I see it, this is another opportunity for E-J bilingual FILIPINOS, especially for those with knowledge in car manufacturing, to work in Canada!
