One day several years ago, our town’s Rokujizosan were found “head-less”.

No, it wasn’t due to some kind of natural calamity nor caused by some stone-gnawing termites.

Someone had the guts to cut off our Rokujizosan’s heads, and he must really, really be out of his
mind! And this fellow (felon) is still on the loose.

I heard a Bhuddist priest say that hundreds of years ago, gamblers believed that cutting off a Jizosan’s head and stashing it away would bring them luck in any form of gambling. How about six!?

Marami akong nadadaanang Ojizosan pag naglalakad pero hindi ko lang pinapansin masyado. Kaso isang araw, biglang huminto sa isa ang anak ko at (half-jokingly) nag-pray. Cool (hindi ko alam kung saan nya nakuha ito). Kahit tawa ako nang tawa, nakakuha pa ako ng picture.

They say whichever part of your body you wish to be “remedied”, halimbawa: mahina ang tuhod mo, you should touch the Jizosan’s knee.

I always touch its head…wa’ epek:(

They’re in uniform pa ha.

…Pasingit… “hiyang” ka na siguro sa mga Ojizosan sa lugar niyo Maple. Maybe you should try those from other prefecture?:hihi:
