Hello! What happens after finishing the program? Are all ALTs obliged to fly back to PH? Renew any contract? Or pwede mag stay sa Japan to find another teaching job?

Hi! Your visa as an ALT is an Instructor Visa, and you are not required to go back to the Philippines after your contract expires. You can check Erwin Macam sensei’s vlogs to get a better idea.

that depends on the mutual agreement between you and your employer. Your contract renewal depends on your work performance din.

Sa JET programme, 5 years max but some stay longer or directly hired by the school.
