NHK is looking for actors/actresses for a TV sitcom and other TV programs. Why not give it a try? If you want to do more, just say it and show it to them. Any material related to your activity however is a plus to know you better, they can give it back to you afterwards but a copy is better. Also this audition is not simply for this project but will help make a list of possible talented people for the casting of other programs, If you have any friend with a little bit of Japanese ability (even basic), in his or her 20S or 30’s, with some ability to be a comedian, actor or character actors.

Little Johnny, marami kang pwedeng maging roles sa NHK TV programs at baka malampasan mo pa ang acting ability ni George Estregan…Who knows madiscover ka namin para sa Hollywood movies (pwera biro:) Magandang image-building ng Filipino sa Japan kung nasa international media network ka na…maka-influence ka pa para sa kabutihan ng nasa media at mga tagasubaybay. Sige na, mag-apply ka na at hikayatin din ang iba!

Honestly, I feel sad sa mga replies ng iba. I didn’t post this ad as a joke or lead to chain of jokes or elicit even green jokes. I just hope that we can discover a talented Filipino/Filipinos that we can support at NHK and who we can be proud of. It’s even my prayer that this kababayan can be social action oriented and give a good name to us Filipinos.
I know that some people in other countries are following my threads…others have known my identity that I should be more responsible then with my words and action.
I don’t mean to hurt you but I hope you consider my stand! God bless you!

Remember that the objective of Timog Forum is to be useful to many people. We don’t want jokes inside serious threads especially in Buhay Japan, Visa and Legal Issues, and other forums like Advertisements. Let’s respect other people’s threads.

Apologies accepted! Sige, peace na po tayo…huwag lang maulit.
One of our kababayan went to NHK for audition yesterday. I learned that so many people are calling and that 4 people are scheduled every hour for audition. It sounds that the TV sitcom revolves on the story of 6 foreigners living together in one apartment as managed by a Japanese.
Hope to hear comments from those who applied!
