🇶 Can anyone take the exam?
There are no restrictions on who can take the exam, so anyone can take it at any level.
In addition, we have set the expected candidates for each level and the expected talent profile of successful candidates, so please check the level classification before taking the exam.
🇶 When is the exam held?
The exam is held twice a year, in October and February. From fiscal year 2025, there will be 3 examinations per year.

🇶 Where can I take the exam?
In principle, the exam will be held in all 47 prefectures. Details of the exam venues will be posted on the website as soon as they are decided.
- Please note that multiple exams in different fields will be held in the same exam room at each venue.
- Please note that the venue or exam location may change depending on the situation regarding the new coronavirus.
🇶 What kind of questions will be asked?

- As a general rule, questions based on relevant laws, accounting standards, JIS and other standards will be based on the content in force as of May 1st of the exam year for the early exam and as of November 1st of the exam year for the late exam.
🇶 How do I apply to take the exam?
Please apply online from the application reception page.
Payment can be made by credit card or convenience store.
The management and operation of the application reception page has been outsourced to Nippan Segmo Co., Ltd., which is the sales business operator for the application reception page under the specific commercial transaction.

🇶 Do I need to pass both the Production Management Planning and Operation exams?
You need to pass only one: either Production Management Planning or Production Management Operation.
🇶 Are the exam questions only in Japanese? Also, if they are in Japanese, do they have furigana?
From the second half of the 2024 exam, we have decided to add furigana to the 3rd grade Production Management exam questions.
🇶 Is it possible to take both Production Management Planning and Operation at the same time?
The Level 3 Production Management Planning and Level 3 Production Management Operation exams are divided into morning and afternoon sessions, so you can take both subjects on the same day.
🇶 What standard textbooks should I purchase for the 3rd grade Production Management field?
If you are taking the Level 3 Production Management Planning exam:
Please purchase two books: 1. Level 3 Production Management [Common Knowledge] and 2. 3rd grade Production Management Planning [Specialized Knowledge].
If you are taking the Grade 3 Production Management Operation exam: Purchase two books: 1. Level 3 Production Management [Common Knowledge] and 2. Level 3 Production Management Operation [Specialized Knowledge].
🇶 Are there plans to add furigana to the standard textbook for the Level 3 Production Management field?
