You know English in the Philippines is in a poor state when the leading English newspaper can’t even make a proper figure of speech. “Kept in freezer?” (http://news.inq7.net/regions/index.php?index=1&story_id=46077) Marami pa rin sa atin ang naniniwala na pinakamagaling sa Ingles ang mga Pinoy sa Asya. Maari pong tama ito dati, pero hindi na ngayon.
