What exactly does being open mean? Does it mean sharing yourself only when you’re miserable or dealing with something intense ? or does it means dealing with everything that’s on your mind with equal candor?
Can you enlighten me with this question?

openess is closeness…
…but depending on who are you going to open with.
for a marriage relationship openess really works rather than hiding something then later will backfire to you.
for GF/BF relationship there openess works but there are limits.

Being open or openess is what we are doing here at tf, we pour here what we feel, think, etc… being, in degree, honest and frank and felt relaxed.

…means, you’re not going to hide anything in you. You share who you are without hesitations.

open ness depends on subject itself… open in a way … you are free to express your self your thoughts your opinion in a way you can not hurt other people…
what if , it will hurt other feelings… then you can still free to express yourself in a way that people can understand what you mean…if it needs a one by one talk then let it be…
open ness requires honesty and trust to other… on other way around…listiner should be responsible in everything they will hear…

i relate openness more with honesty.
it’s about telling the truth, hiding nothing.
saying what you mean and meaning what you say.
it’s saying what needs to be said in a particular situation- based on your judgment.

pag open ka sa isang tao it means na may thrust ka sakanya nasa kanya na yun kung anong maging judgement nya.

To be open is a good thing for me, but with limitations…secret s are secrets like you promise to keep it as a secret. To trust people is to trust yourself more.

openness requires trust and usually creates harmonious relationship with others…
but i think there’s a level of openness depending on the situation or on the person and the level of your closeness…shempre you cant be outrightly open sa ibang tao unless you can feel that no matter what you say…these people will be there…yung may sense of belongingness ka na.
and of course personal secrets are inevitable…you always have to keep something to yourself…

openness is about being honest of telling and sharing who you are
openness is giving a part of you to a particular person(s)
openness can be controlled too and sometimes must be controlled
openness is good but not too much
consider the perils and detriments on both sides
there were things that must be closed in secret,
for it is not yet time, just like on the book of David and the book of revelation (nanjatte:eek: putulin ko na nga … religious na naman ang magiging dating)

& whatever Thoughts you have in your mind…
