To all TFM’s especially computer wizards:
I was on the net last night , ng biglang mag-pop-up ang internet security ng computer ko.
“some one is trying to have an access with your computer” something like that NIHONGO kase hindi ko na masyadong binasa may kasamang IP ADDRESS at ng i-click ko, biglang may lumabas na mapa ng America, with California… location ng IP Address. This is my first time to encounter such a thing kaya pinatay ko nalang agad ang computer ko. What is this? Am I hacked or what???

if you’re using norton internet security, most probably it’s just a warning that someone is trying to access your computer without permission and norton internet security was able to detect and block it. when you clicked the ip address, it traced it back to the closest probable location. since it was able to detect the attempted illegal access, then you don’t have to worry about anything. just make sure you keep norton internet security (or whatever firewall software you’re using) updated. i always get that kind of alert several times a week but my windoze pc at the lab has never been hacked.

if you don’t like that happening again, get a mac.
