Hi stanfordmed,
Why don’t you try these places:
YOKE (http://www.yoke.city.yokoha ma.jp/indexe.html)
Yokohama Konan International Lounge (http://www.yk.rim.or.jp/~mk01-kil/ehome/)
They both offer language classes to foreigners.
I might actually join one of them soon.

hello stanford!
naimbag nga rabii kabsat! my parents are from Pangasinan but the dialect is ilocano.
I took my Japanese language class in Hodogaya International Exchange Center (Iwama Shimin Plaza)malapit sa Tennocho Station or visit their website :

or every Tuesday, sa NVG Hodogaya naman the same building din, ibang group naman yon!I think 400yen a month yon. .
