Sino nakapunta dito? I think its a nice place to relax and pray maybe.

Yah I agree with you Totomai, I was there two(2)weeks ago, 30-40 mins lang sya by train from yokohama station. Kamakura is mainly known for its temples and shrines. Kotokuin, with the monumental outdoor bronze statue of Amida Buddha is the famous of these. Kamakura is surrounded by mountains on the three sides and the open water on the fourth, Kamakura has a beach which in combination with temples and the proximity of Tokyo that makes it popular tourist destination. The city is well provided with restaurants and good foods most specially the “KAMAKURA BEER”!!!

I have been there too many times and in fact I’ll be there tomorrow at 7:30 a.m to meet my friend. It’s best to go there during spring because all the cherry blossoms that are aligned along the road going to the temple are in full blossoms. You can eat and drink in the night. Omatsuri talaga gabi-gabi.It takes me an hour by car.And going there along the way is the splendid view of Enoshima and far from the distance the magnificent Mt. Fuji stands on top of the waves of the ocean with dots fanatic surfers and ships far away.Nice place! A must go!

Magkapareho kami nang birthday at pinadala nya sa aking ang picture na ito na may dedication na…“Hope you could go to this place too ang ganda and could refresh one’s mind”

My first visit to Kamakura was in March 23,1991. It was like a wedding of the samurais.Napakaganda !And that was the first time na nakakita ako ng naka-kimonong Japanese.

I just came back home from Kamakura,as usual it is a very beautiful place.Ayos iyan! Pagdating ng anak mo dalhin mo siya sa Kamakura and I am advising you if it is not so troublesome for you to go by car.If you go by car, make it a point na you are in the vicinity of Enoshima at the time when the sun is rising and gosh! you will never forget in your whole life the magnificent view of the island of Enoshima with the famous Mt.Fuji on the background plus the rays of the sun splitting and piercing through the low valleys and fighting for early morning waves were the surfers…so…beau tiful! This is what I had this morning.Next time,I’ll bring in my camera (so sorry that I forgot it!).For those who haven’t gone to Kamakura, itterasshai ! Don’t miss this place!
