Once upon a time, there lived a man,
who ate nothing but tuna that came from a can.
He worked so hard for his bread,
he ended up walking like a living dead.
He grew up in a country where life is tough,
pigs are fed, nourished and then elected.
Then came a fairy, with lots of money, hair of silver
and promises are aplenty.
“You want to work in a land where trees are small,
electronics are cool and porn is legal.”
“There’s a catch! Sell me your soul and sign this scroll,
and in just a few months we’re ready to roll.”
Thinking that he hit gold, with lots of money
and girls to behold.
He never knew that life will be tough,
colleagues are rough and everything he do will never be enough.

Ang galing naman nito 'tol. Naipapuso nga talaga dagiti balikas. Wag mo naman masyadong damdamin. Isipin mo na lang, walang kuwenta ang problema mo (kung meron man) kumpara sa iba. Cheer up!

I am impressed.
Some lines rhyme, and the 10 syllables are used. (iambic pentameter?)
Alliteration is used, in some lines.
Stanzas have either 4 lines or 2 lines.
Very stylish, I don’t know how to call this style, though.
(A sonnet ? )
English Literature class is now obscure.
Gone is my memory there is no cure.

ngayon pa laang natapos ang pagbabasa ko ng mga threads at tunay ngang kawili wili.
aba’y magagaling ang mga nandire… marae akong natutunan at nadiskubre eh.
nakakatuwa naman ang sulat na ire
mabuhay ka kabayan!
