I felt it here (Yokohama), too. - got a little dizzy and my poor parrot fell off her cage.
I guess the effect is a bit more being on the 29th floor…

Mas grabe siguro doon sa taas namin on the 43rd floor.

Isa pang taga Kanagawa area.

Sa Hokkaido, we also have had quite a few shocks doon but not as frequent like the Tokyo vicinities. Although nasa Sapporo ako non 1994 duing the Kansai quakes, I watched the extent of the damages on tv and I hope and pray na sana wag nang maulit…ayaw ko na rin isipin…

Meron general announcement throughout the building, kaya lang Nihon-go - I have no idea what they’re saying. I looked out on the other tower, atsaka sa baba, wala namang nag-e-evacuate. So stay put lang siguro. Sana that will be it for now - wala a kong kasama dito atsaka wala akong kilala.

No stoppers, but one drawer in the kitchen opened. I think this tower has some kind of seismic resistant structures (tower was built 2003).

Nakakahiya man aminin pero totoo:

I am not sure how much this can help, but most infrastructures in Japan can withstand intensity 7+ earthquakes. However, no man-made structures to date can withstand an 8.
Hope everybody’s OK.
BTW, Tokyo fire department have this earthquake preparedness program in conjunction to safety conducted on firestations. The ones in Tokyo have English iyahons for better understanding for those who are not familiar with Nihonggo. Me and my family was into 1 program, and the experience was good. Meron pang “Earthquake Chamber” to give a “first hand” experience of a big one. Just in case the info is useful to anyone.
