OBSERVANCE OF THE 2023 MINIMUM WAGE PER PREFECTURE
TO: All Supervising Organizations submitting documents to the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) Tokyo for verification in connection with the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP)
The Japan Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) has issued the 2023 Minimum Wage for each Prefecture effective 01 October 2023.
The Migrant Workers Office (MWO) in Tokyo, Japan shall accept and process documents with 2022 minimum wage for each prefecture only until the close of office hours of 29 September 2023.
All TITP documents to be submitted on 01 October 2023 onwards should already apply the 2023 Minimum Wage, otherwise, these documents shall be returned for compliance with the mandated wage rates.
