Check out Japan Foundation, Manila’s website:

http://www.jfmo.org.ph/

There is a link (Schools Related to Japanese Language Education & Japanese Studies) somewhere in the middle.

Tell your bro to try Japan Foundation. The teachers there are very good and graduates of ToDai(Tokyo University). Some are Filipino and some are Japanese.
The school is in Morayta in front of PSBA and they have a center in Makati.
Hope this info helps.
Good luck.

yup, i agree. this is one of the best japanese language school in the country. from elementary to advanced classes, dito ako nag-aral and wala akong reklamo sa school na ito except…walang library na pwedeng hiraman ng books.

nihongo center foundation, inc. is the preferred by many. i understand this is also recommended by japan embassy here. i asked my japanese colleagues here in our firm and they also suggested this. their main campus is in manila. & there’s also in makati. this is their address in manila.

2F / 3F Philippines-Japan Friendship Center-Manila
825 R. Papa St., Sampaloc, Manila
Tel: 63 2 735-3179 / 735-2920
Fax: 63 2 735-3005

& the one in makati is 3rd Floor, Dominion Bldg., 833 Arnaiz Avenue, Makati City. Tel No. 892 4916 to 19 Fax: 8174064

They offer various programs, from basic to advance, conversation, survival, business…

inquire ka na lang…but the classes are not that regular. coz they will only pursue a class if there are at least 10 students.

yup!! if you ask the JICC (japan embassy in manila) or the japan foundation, this is the very first school they will recommend

aside from the regular specialized programs of the NCF, they also offer intensive courses (under PIJLC, same school). 9 months of nihongo, everyday for about 6 or 7 hours a day.

I am looking for classmates on nihongocenter. Im registered on their makati site
they are still waiting for other students to enroll. The class is every saturday, my friend will also enroll on the class this saturday. Their makati site is easily accessible, its behind greenbelt. So if anyone here would like to enroll, nihongocenter will be a nice option.
