Wala namang external threats ang Pilipinas, but we have many internal threats. Mas effective ang helicopters sa pagtugis ng mga kalaban na nagtatago sa kagubatan, kaysa super-sonic jet fighters.

Nalulungkott din ako sa pagka-decommission ng mga F-5 Freedom Fighters, because it somehow symbolize the glory days of the Philippines. 
Buti sana kung papalitan ng mas bagong fighters, eh kaso kahit pang maintenance man lang walang mailaan na pondo. :mad:

sad news, indeed. like we say in japan, shoganai. we never felt we have outside enemies (unlike japan, china, the two koreas, taiwan, and other southeast asian countries) so we just quarelled among ourselves.

Read my lips: it is not the lack of money but where it is improperly disappearing to that is the problem.
We will never have enough money to buy planes, ships, tanks or even just bullets as long as our generals keep laundering bayongs of money abroad. Nahuli na nga ng US customs at naging major scandal - but has Gloria lifted a single finger about it?
The swanky Corinthian Gardens subdivision is full of queridas set up in obscene luxury by their kabit generals - that’s also where the money for buying those bullets have gone to. :mad:
