naku sis delikado yan! ang fingerprints nise-save sa database, kaya it lasts forever. ngayon kung hindi nya real name ang ginamit nya and aapply sya sa real name nya, lalabas agad yan, and it’s against the law and last time I’ve heard, may jail time yan.

hello…from my experienced:
may expiration date po ang US Visa and as long as it"s valid you can use that any time. kahit saan kayo mangagaling.
pag kuha ng visa, during the interview, avoid saying na may relatives kayo or fiance who’s staying in US at gusto nyong bisitahin. sometimes they don"t trust that reason.and iba po’ng process noon . .
depends sa papers nyo and your status here in Japan at sa kukuhain ninyong Visa.
.
B1-B2 .
I used the agent paid 25000yen. nag inform ako sa JTB , my goodness naman ang charge nila, you can buy one way ticket going sa Philippines na.60,000 yen daw ang sabi. I donno.
yung agent na pinag applayan ko 25,000yen lang nga, approved or denied ang visa ,this ammount ay hindi na babalik sa iyo… but the agent will give you a lot o advises kung papaano ka sasagot and what papers do you need…chotto kokoro tzuyoi kamo…
kung sa agent din, ikaw pa rin ang kukuha ng papers na kakailanganin, photos, tohon, juminhyo, income certificate copy of your familys passport , copy of alllien harap at likod, etc.ang agent ng magaayos in order then pupunta ka sa US Embassy sa appointment date and time mo.
then doon ka i-interviewhin and depend. good luck na lang.
pag dating ng US Embassy on your appointment date and time katakot takot ng nervious, till they call your name.
I have a friend, nag apply siya uli last month again she said, she is divorsed 8 yrs. here in Japan w/ 11 yr.old son, working on Base as Food Serving Department as a clerk, na denied na siya two times, first she wanted to visit her friend and she honestly told the reason, denied, second when she needs to attend a seminar na ang company ang nag papadala sa kanya, na denied again…then when she was with me,nervious noon kasi may two Filipina na nauna sa kanya noon, na denied sila…( feel sorry for them)…sunod sunod pa…lalung kinabahan noon…
after then, Yeay! they gave her 5 yrs. her reason ay just to treat his son for a trip sa Christmas in Guam which is the truth plann niya daw naman APPROVED.She is so happy…she said she will work hard to earn ticket para madala niya ngang talaga ang son niya sa USA nice beach…I was happy for her… … …
So , Good luck po…
sa US Immigration din, grabe ang questioning, sometimes kung hindi sila satisfied sa sagot ninyo, dadalin pa kayo sa office nila…nadala na po ako sa office room one time nung hindi pa po ako kasal sa husband ko…sigh…and of course finger printing and picture taking, bla bla bla bago ang permit how long they will stamp you ang pag stay nyo before you can proceed through the luggage/baggage claim:D. sometimes nagbibigay ng 6 months sometimes naman 3 months…depende yata sa mood ng officer:D…so greet them well. my son ,Japanese nag travel sila buong kaisha boss and co-workers ( japanese ) in Guam last June, 3 weeks lang ang binigay sa kanya…
and thats it…
Goodluck!

kasi naka booked ng lahat hotel , airfare papuntang Guam as in kasing mag pamilya
tapos you should pay pa 8000 yen mahigit para sa appointment

Just keep your fingers cross…

no biggie sis sorry i wasn’t able to give you a good answer. Ask ko lang, nung nag-apply ba sya using different name, meaning yung passport nya different name din 4 years ago right? so now that she’s using her real name to apply for another visa, that means she has her own passport with her real name on it? Meaning nakalusot sya sa DFA. I don’t know how they do things there in PI but in US, they store everything especially after 911. Part of security campaign against terrorism ang drama dito ngayon eversince. I just hope maayos nya yang case. Part of me wanted her to be able to get a visa without any trouble but if that happens, then I won’t feel secure knowing that others (and I mean the bad guys) can easily do it too.

he he…sister nagpunta din me ng saipan last year…

sapalaran talaga

This is my second U.S visa , the first one no appearance, but they gave me multiple visa… so nag lapse na … so no choice but to get another one … I applied last march (2005)thru internet procedure(just what pointblank stated sa posts nya )… so after two months of waiting na interview din awa ng dyos ok naman but they wouldn’t tell you kung ilang years ang ibibigay nila sa yo,… don’t expect minsan may one month lang ang bigay nila …(case by case) ,after 3 days dumating na …take note ,kung before stamp lang yung visa na pagkaliit ngayon naman para kang nasa loob ng pera na naka-laminate sa isang buong page ng passport mo … pina -mail ko na lang since mendokusai pang bumalik pa ulit…middle of july yun po fly na kami… I paid 100 dollars for the visa FYI po… if you’re planning to get one ,as possible sana mas earlier the better meaning if you’re leaving by dec or jan dapat ngayon pa lang mag apply ka na… better ,check mo sa website ng U.S embassy yung available na day and time for appointment, minsan the whole 2 months wala ng available …timing -timing din cguro… advice ko lang if ever day of interview mo na ,say 11 am ang interview mo dapat pag open pa lang ng U.S embassy pumila na … first come first in pa rin kasi … useless yung appointment time nila … and kahit magreact ka sa guard sasabihin lang sa yo go back to your line and wait for your turn …one last thing, as long as complete ang supporting papers mo and sincere /honest ang intention mo then there’s nothing to worry about …good luck
hi, just wanna ask if the requirements or supporting papers in applying for US visa should all be translated in english:confused:

@Sacod
I’ll attempt to answer your question ha.
I suggest you show them your bank account or any certificate (stocks, time deposit , etc ) to prove that you can support your travel.
Last Monday ako pumunta para mag-apply. Then and there the interviewer told me that my application has been provisionally approved.
I submitted the ff documents: employment contract, income tax, passbook at certificate of employment.
Sa OSaka ako nag-apply at eto ang ilang questions sa 'ken: how long have you been staying here? when will your contract expire? why was your previous visa application in the philippines denied? dont you think its too early for you to apply for a visa since you intend to travel to the US in December?
Isa pang tip during the interview. Kahit medyo kabado, wag ipahalata. Try to be confident while talking and dont forget to smile
PS
Starting April, Y11 700 na po ang application fee.
Eto pa pala, don’t forget to fill out the supplemental non immigrant form. Eto yung form na may educational background at work experience.
Good luck Sacod! Pagpalain ka nawa ni Bathala!
hi! tanong ko lang po kung anong sinagot nyo why was your previous visa application in the PI denied:D

hi all.
my ex wants us to go the u.s this coming august for a tour. for him walang problema dahil japanese sha… but for me, i have to get a visa.
i am a government scholar here and my mom and sis are in the u.s living separately.
i am bit confuse on how i should approach the application para highest ang possible na mupasa. baleh…
- tour with my ex - main reason, real reason, no definite date. mga August pa.
- visit my mom (dont include my ex) during application
- visit my mom and same time tour with my ex.
what do you think is the best approach?
Also, ive read through the requirements sa site sa embassy and have browsed this thread from page 1 to 27. still, im a bit confused sa requirements especially sa – supporting documents.
what kind of supporting documents do i need? of course I would need the certificate from school, re-entry permit rin, and the other basic requirements indicated sa site ng embassy. aside from that, what else? do i need the affidavit of support from my mom and sister since they are living there? what else?
my ex like most japanese are so fascinated with the u.s… and i really dont want to disappoint him. it could also be our only and last trip together.
also, sino ba government scholar dito who tried applying for u.s tourist visa?
I plan to have the interview end of March, if i fail, can i reapply again July?
My problem now is i will be graduating this August. Thats why somehow I need to apply as soon as possible.
Sorry daming questions.
Thank you so much for reading.

yung japanese ex mo kailangan nya ng ESTA (electronic system for travel authorization). since nov 2008 po in effect yan. lahat ng kasali sa visa waiver program kailangan munang magsecure ng ESTA

To jeaimer24san,
last year noong nag apply ako, may nakasabay akong same mong scholar, dadalaw sa relatives nya. Na approve naman sya.
Requirements? sundin mo yong nasa website tapos add mo yong affidavit of support from your family sa US.
Tanong sa kanya how many days sya doon at kung anu-ano daw ba gagawin nya?
hope this helps;)

@jeaimer24
Looking at your situation, I can say that you have a chance to get a US tourist visa…IF you can prove to them that your purpose is just a short visit and for pleasure. You don’t need to declare or tell them that you have relatives in the US otherwise your visa will be denied or you can get a single entry visa.
US visa nowadays is really easy compared before as they need revenue…think positive and don’t lose HOPE.

hello po mga ka TF!! tanong ko lang din po plan ko rin kumuha ng US visa… ma aapprove po kaya? bale ang asawa ko ay Brazilian at lahat kami with my two kids ay Permanent residence na!!! ako kasi parang gusto ko lang mamasyal doon i have friend in california and guam too…sobrang higpit pa rin po ba?

03-22-2009, 04:36 PM
No one can answer your question except the embassy official who will interview you. So if you are interested in applying for a visitors visa - you might as well make an appointment via the web and try your luck.
In any non-immigrant visa applications - it is always best to be able to prove that you are not an economic refugee, meaning you have a source of livelihood in your country of origin. And have no intention of jumping ship. You must of course have flawless legal record and have the resources to fund your stay.
camille
03-22-2009, 04:55 PM
yeah! i know po sir its just gusto ko lang humingi kahit konting idea lang… kasi sabi nila kapag kasal ka sa brazilian may possibilities kang ma deny… dahil napa higpit din nila sa mga brazilian… we have our job here so far stable pa naman po! and lahat ng papers ko po ay legal… anyway thanks sir sa reply…meron po kaya sa mga ka TF natin na kasal sa brazilian at nakakuha ng US visa?
v_wrangler
03-22-2009, 05:25 PM
I don’t really think it is a big deal at all whether your husband is a citizen of Brazil or not. That is unless of course - if the husband has a current negative record with the embassy. But the issue that will be in question here is you - since ikaw naman ang mag-aaply at hindi ang iyong asawa.
So I say go ahead and try your luck.

Sabi nya " Hi, how are you? Sagot ko kagad, I am very nervous but hopeful. Sabay ngiti na kagad sya at sabing “dont be nervous". sagot ko naman eh "i
ll try”. Tsaka pa lang sumunod ang tanong nyang…What`s your purpose of your trip? To go to Disneyland and Universal Studios. (an advice from MAMI SUMMERGIRL) Grabe bigla na lang lumiko ang kilay nya…“How come you want to go LA, fact that Japan has Disneyland and Universal Studios? Grabe sagot ko tandang-tanda ko…” I just want to compare which one is better and plus my daughter is crazy about Mickey Mouse too." sabay ngiti ko:) Pagkatapos nito puros tungkol na sa mga anak ko ang tanong nya…hiningi lahat ng passport ng mag-aama ko, tiningnan.
I like your name, its cute. And wonder how come your surname is like that? Sagot ko…I dont know, I didn`t ask my father.
Pagkatapos non, may kinuha syang papel tapos sinabi nyang, Have a nice trip! your Visa is approved for 10 years.
Sabay sabi ko…Thank you sir! You are an angel…sagot kagad nya, No I am not.
I could say, its just my lucky day!

Hi sis Nhatni!
Ako naka ilang deny na sa Pilipinas. Halos 3 beses na nuong dalaga pa ako.
Tapos last December 2007 dito sa Japan nag apply ako first time.
Deny kasi like what you have said, wala nga akong strong ties pa dito sa Japan sabi nila.
So I waited na mag three years ako.
Tapos eto nga nitong 25 nabigyan na ako.
Try lang ng try sis.
Who knows this time na mag apply ka makapasa ka na!
Good luck po!

hajimemashite congrats miss katheyrine, you gets 10 years visa kasi i have plan also to aply tourist visa, at alam mo ayaw maniwala ng asawa ko na pag na bigyan ng visa 5- years or 10 years diba kasi sa mga experience niya kasi

Good luck!

yung 5 years or 10 years kasi MULTIPLE ENTRY yun…pero hindi ka puedeng magtaggal ng 5 years walang uwian… alam ko pagdating sa US airport dun palang itatatak kung ilang days/ months ka puedeng mag stay…yung binibigay lang nila visa for entry yata:D wait natin ibang sagot nila

Ito yung isa sa mga FAQ;
Does a five-year visa mean that I can stay in the United States for five years?
No. A visa only allows you to present yourself at a U.S. border or port of entry for inspection. The Immigrations Officer determines the amount of time you can stay in the United States once you have been granted entry. A five-year, multiple-entry visa means that you are allowed to travel to the United States as many times as you like during the five-year validity period, staying no longer than the time indicated by the Immigrations Officer.
Ito naman yung link sa iba pang mga katanungan in case wala pa kayong link;
