Hello mga kababayan!
Hingi lang ako advice kasi uwi ako this December, mga 22 or 23 tapos balik uli ako dito ng Jan 4 or 5. I have a two week holiday sa work ko. Mas makakamura ba kung ngayon na ko kuha ng roundtrip ticket? Or shall I wait till December para sa promo ng mga airlines? Sa Kansai airport ako. I am on a tight budget so have to spend wisely.

Hello halloween. First time mo bang umuwi ng december? Ang experience ko sa panahon na yan ay, mga 3 to 4 months ka pa dapat magpa-reserve ng ticket kundi mauubusan ka ng slot! :eek: Especially kung naghahanap ka ng murang ticket dapat maaga pa. Makakakuha ka din ng around december, pero…baka business or first class na lang ang natitira. Ok, don’t panic!!! Why not inquire ASAP sa travel agent/airline mo para sigurado? 
Remember, mahilig tayo sa Pasko kaya ang daming nagsisiuwian sa december. Good luck!

since taga tokushima ka,i pressume sa kansai ka magde depart.kung uuwi ka sa phils ng December, mga 22 or 23 tapos balik uli ako dito ng Jan 4 or 5,medyo mahighirapan ka kasi…
- after dec 8 departure,mahal na ang tiket sa PAL from around 52,000 to 68,000 plus fuel surcharge.thai airways nmn ay mas mahal ng konti saka mas mahal ang fuel surcharge nila.
2.its almost impossible na makakuha ka ng jan 4-5 flt pabalik sa japan.maybe by this time,puno na ang reservation sa buong january.tama si dax,call a travel office na lng for inquiries sa availability ng tiket…ako dito ako bumibili ng tiket>>>AIT.06-66484919.

uuwi din po ako sa PI ng dec. 23 via narita naman…everytime na umuwi ako direct ako sa airlines na nagpapabook kc nakaexperience ako ng double booking…sinabi ng agency na confirmed ang booking namin pabalik rito sa japan pro, di kami nakasakay. always peak season lang ang time namin na umuwi ng family ko kc, sa trabaho. so, nangyari, bumili na lang kami ng one way ticket for my hubby sa ibang airlines kc he had 2go back dito and ako naman,nag-chance passenger na lang and unfortunately, walang nag cancel sa ibang passengers and the airlines staff adviced me na if i want eh mag-parebook na lang ako sa nearest available flight which is mag-stop over sa Cebu. i didnt have any alternatives kc talagang napagod na ako sa kababalik araw2 sa NAIA kaya, ive learned my lessons…i always go directly sa airlines kahit may kamahalan, 100% sure naman.
this year, since di ko kasama uuwi ang husband ko, nag pabook ako sa isang travel agency last month and they said, na fully booked na raw ang Northwest airlines ng dec.23. ,dec.21 eh open pa and talagang mura sya sabi sa akin, august 1st week pa lang daw eh open na ang reservations…pro, nag-tatwag pa rin ako sa ibang agency for comparison…i dunno lang dyan sa kansai area…so, advice lang, medyo mag-tawag tawag ka na kc talagang maraing umuuwi ng X-mas…k? enjoy your trip and happy christmas…

though not very crowded kapag nov hanggang early dec,better na magpa confirm ka na ng flt ngayon pa lang .kapag nabago ang sked mo,pwede mo nmn palitan ang date ng departure mo.

Ewan ko kung bakit ang mga Pinoy, sadyang inaantay ang last monument (moment) bago kumilos. My dear kababayans, hindi jeepney na papuntang Quiapo ang sinasakyan ninyo na pwede niyong ipa-para kahit kelan at pwede pa yung sabit kahit na puno na!
Dear Bulakena: yes darleng, call ka na kaagad sa airline mo at magpa-book ka na! Kahit na hindi pa peak ang November, you never know kung biglang may convention o kung ano sa Pinas. Basta’t gumawa ka na ng reservation para sigurado ka na - you can always cancel the reservation pag nagbago ang schedule mo. Just make sure na when you decide to cancel, do it at least one week before the departure date para di ka mamulta.
Sa mga nag-aadvice kay Halloween: please take note na sa Kansai siya lilipad - so mas kaunti ang flights available: Thai at PAL lang, hindi pa daily ang PAL. The situation is probably more difficult than in Tokyo.
Dear Halloween: Tulad ng nasabi na ng iba, pahirapan ang Dec 22/23 at Jan 4/5 dahil ito ang last days before Christmas at first days after New Year, kaya kalaban mo ang halahati ng Pinoy dito sa Japan. Ako din paalis ng Tokyo sa Dec 23, pero February 2005 pa lang, naka-book na ako. The question is not kung makakamura ka, pero kung makakauwi ka pa if ever. Ideally, July pa sana ay nagpa-reserve ka na sa travel agent.
According to HIS (isang malaking discount travel agent sa Tokyo), ang Tokyo-Manila leaving on Dec. 23 ay 97,000 yen roundtrip. That is, KUNG makakuha ka pa ng slot. (Mukhang mas mura ng kaunti ang Osaka-Manila, about 9 lapad).
According naman to the PAL website, merong available na seat for Kansai-Manila on Dec. 23, returning on Jan 05; pero ang presyo is 135,000 yen excluding taxes (about 6000 yen).
I would advice going to a travel agent IMMEDIATELY to make a reservation. A big travel agent will probably be better, dahil mas marami ang seats na hawak nila. Yung mga maliliit na travel agent kasi, humihingi lang ng slots mula sa mga malaking agents.
Yung last minute cheap tickets - huwag ka nang umasa. Hindi umuubra yan pag peak season, dahil kahit na may mag-cancel, agad-agad na may kukuha niyan kahit na mahal, kaya di kailangan ng airline ibagsak ang presyo.
If you are really desperate to go home, subukan mo rin mag-explore ng transit flights - yung hindi direct to Manila: for example, via Seoul, Hong Kong, Taipei or even Kuala Lumpur. Ang problema mo lang dito, maraming Pinoy din ang umuuwi from these cities to Manila - however, mas malaki ng kaunti ang chances mo, since there are more flights, let’s say between Hong Kong and Manila (Cathay alone has 4 flights daily) than between Kansai and Manila. It may cost you more, pero hindi naman siguro aabot sa 135,000 ng PAL.
Of course, pag may connections ka, baka mas madadalian kang maka-reserve. Mukhang ngang si c2ny2 ay may malaking say sa KIX. Boss, baka may connect ka rin sa Narita - pwedeng mag-uwi ng bahay? 
(Biro lang, happy na ako kung magbigyan ng aisle seat sa may emergency exit. Babaw, ano?)

Meron na po akong reservation sa tulong ni Ganda girl. My flight to the Philippines is on the 22nd of December and I’ll be back on the 5th of January. Tumataginting na Y89 000 ang roundtrip ticket. Ang problema ko eh kung pano makakabalik ng mas maaga since my work resumes on the 5th. Sabi sa travel agency, they’ll inform me kung may available flight na mas maaga sa Jan. 5.
I got here last June and I was on probationary period for two months that’s why I didnt bother to make an early reservation. My concern then was how I could do well in my job. Di ko alam na pahirapan pala ang booking dito sa ganong dates. Anyway, charge it to experience na lang.

As far as I know mahirap na makapag reserved kapag december kasi high peak month ito. Anyway why dont you search on the internet para mas marami kang information ka makuha and ma ko compare mo pa kung saan mas mura just my advice:)

Try this website http://www.etour.co.jp/en/ I just book flight there and have my ticket already paid. Ok din yan may english and you can even call if you have inquiries. They can speak also in english.
