TF guests and members,

If you use Yahoo! try this trick: Click here: Put Timog Forum into My Yahoo! (http://add.my.yahoo.com/rss?url=http%3A//www.timog.com/forum/external.php%3Ftype% 3Drss). You’ll be asked to login if you aren’t yet, and then you’ll be asked if you want to add Timog Forum into My Yahoo! Click “Add it”. Now when you visit My Yahoo! every time you’re logged in, you’ll see the latest posts in Timog Forum. Isn’t that cool or what?

For you Firefox users out there, you can do a similar trick. Click Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks. On the new windows that pops out, click on File > New Live Bookmark. Type “Timog Forum” on the “Name” box, and “http://www.timog.com/forum/external.php?type=rs s” (without the quotes) inside the “Feed Location” box. Now when you click on Bookmarks, you’ll see Timog Forum and the latest topics under that. Neat, no?

Hello there. Are there distinct advantages to using Firefox vis-a-vis Yahoo? Thanks.

hi chameleon,

with firefox, you can just add a live bookmark so you can check if there are new posts without having to go to your My Yahoo page. and you don’t need a Yahoo account for it.

Hello,

Tried this with Thunderbird, no problems.

But today I tried RSS feeds for Yahoo 360 (or the other way around), but seems hindi ayos ang date. Looks more of Yahoo’s problem, but other feeds look fine though.

Well just in case somebody here has something to suggest…

These are the urls I use for the RSS 2.0 feeds:

http://www.timog.com/forum/external.php?type=rs s2

For the latest posts.
http://www.timog.com/forum/external.php?type=rs s2&lastpost=true

You can also display the RSS feeds directly on browsers like Safari and Flock (change the http:// to feed:// for Flock).

Lately (or much later), hindi na makapag RSS feed ang Thunderbird ko, I noticed nagbago na ang link location ng kanilang Breaking News Beta version.

http://services.inq7.net/rss/rss.php

And with that link, ayaw mag work ang feeds. Meron po bang workaround or this is a case of a problem between the keyboard and the chair?
