Hello TF members! We will have a MAJOR renovation work in the following days. The forum might not be accessible at times and some functions may break. If the homepage (www.timog.com (http://www.timog.com/)) doesn’t work, try www.timog.com/forum (http://www.timog.com/forum).

Some questions: does anyone play the arcade games (http://www.timog.com/index.php?page=aster oids) here in Timog? If not, we will probably ditch it during the renovation. We’ve also been thinking about the brithdays of members in TF and we’d like to have feedback from you. Which is better for the member profile, the day of birth or the year? (So we’ll know if we’re talking to a 50-year-old lady or a 14-year-old boy. We don’t want to have both, as that is too invasive.) Should we stay with the birthdays only, or should we just scrap them altogether? Feedback please.

same with makulit maybe we can stick with the present set-up…pero kuya nick pano na yung isang ni-raise mo na issue kung pano natin kakausapin o i-a-address kung matanda na pala kausap natin? siguro kung titingnan babalik na lng tayo dun sa TR&R (timog rules and reg.) na hangga’t maari palaging maging polite…
good luck sa renovation mo…iba ka talaga!

Maging polite na lang tayo lahat. Kung ang makakausap mo ay isang 14 yr old, ay extend mo ang same politeness ay you would a 40 yr old, para matutunan niya ang magandang asal by example. At isa pa, mararamdaman naman natin siguro ang edad ng tao sa mga post niya. Kung may 40 na kung magsulat ay parang 14 yr old pa lang, e problema na niya ito, at hindi ng kausap niya. Ako din boto ako na hindi na ilagay ang year.

Very thoughtful comment, goldhorse, as usual. Besides, it looks like no one wants to reveal their age anyway, especially the ladies.

Pwede din ba akong makisingit sa inyo, hindi naman sa ayaw ma -reveal ang real age. Like goldhorse said mas maganda na maging polite nalang tayong lahat, kasi kung alam natin ang age nung person ay magkakaroon tayo ng ilangan dito diba. Mas maganda na yung ganito atleast comfortable tayo and we can say what we want to say ng hindi naiilang.

Ako naglalaro ng arcade games ng Timog. Lalo na kapag wala na akong mabasa na bago na thread dito. 
Sana ay huwag niyo tanggalin, or kung pwede dagdagan niyo na rin ng iba pang games para mas maganda

i did my vote. sana makatulong sa pagdedesisyon ninyo tungkol sa “renovation” ng TF. For sure, the outcome will be superb! Para yata sa mga Filipino ito at ibang kapatid ng lahi ang Timog Forum! Ganbatte ne!
