If you have ever been to Asakusa in Tokyo, you might have seen this curious pair of buildings (Asahi Beer Hall -- Bento.com Architecture Review). And you might even know what the taller one represents. How about the other? A Japan Times article (http://www.japantimes.com/cgi-bin/getarticle.pl5?ek200 50217wh.htm) explains the meaning of what many Japanese call “Unchi Biru” (Turd Building).

hello reon, dinaanan din namin ang building na yan nung nagriver cruise kami last year with my mother in law and her sister. Di ko rin natanong sa kanila, ang pangalan ng building dahil overwhelmed ako sa joy ride treat ng mother - in law ko, siguro by this time you have the answer to this.

hello Sir Dax, thanks a lot. Nakakatuwa tignan kasi yung yellow gold colored na parang flowing balloon at yung katabing building niya, hollow yung midway from the ground, thought provoking paano nila ginawa. Japanese technology is really one of a kind:)
