Filipinos in Okayama Prefecture have a registered population of 2,150 individuals as of 2022, the 29th largest group of Filipinos in Japan by prefecture, ahead of Fukui and behind Yamanashi.[1]

More than half of the population of Filipinos in Okayama Prefecture are found in the capital city of Okayama, with 796 Filipino residents, and the adjacent Kurashiki, with 648 Filipinos.[1:1]

Okayama Prefecture

Okayama Prefecture (岡山県, Okayama-ken) is a prefecture of Japan located in the Chūgoku region of Honshu. Okayama Prefecture has a population of 1,906,464 (1 February 2018) and has a geographic area of 7,114 km2. Okayama Prefecture borders Tottori Prefecture to the north, Hyōgo Prefecture to the east, and Hiroshima Prefecture to the west.[3]

To the south, across the Seto Inland Sea, is Kagawa Prefecture on the island of Shikoku.

Okayama is the capital and largest city, with other major cities including Kurashiki, Tsuyama, and Sōja.[3:1]
